To the right is my very favorite Saudi Arabian food that I made myself. It
is called Kebsa, and is the national dish. Before one eats,
they must say "Bismillah" (in the name of Allah). You must wash your
hands before you eat and wait for all to be seated to begin eating. Most eat
from a large dish with their right hand by holding the rices
and placing it in their mouth. In a separate room where the women eat, they
mostly use spoons or forks. Kepsa goes great with black lemons and plain yogurt.
All eat on the floor (in the firsha) as this is the Halal way. When one has
had his fill he must thank Allah by saying, "Al7amdulilah". There
are many other famous dishes like Mandi and Margog
but are much more difficult to make.
